Our two dogs sleep in our room which means lots of fur, dust, and dog smell (gross I know). Both my husband and I were pleasantly shocked at how well it cleaned the air. There is no dog smell whatsoever. We are purchasing another one for our son's bedroom who has asthma.m

Before owning this air cleaner I purchased three ionic pro air cleaners. I'm cheap and was trying to not spend money on filters. Long story short, all three broke in under a year each (yes, maintained properly). This air cleaner does use filters, but with regular maintenance only need changing every 4 to 6 months. They are high quality hepa filters as well, with a pre filter that can be removed and washed. They say once a month, and it's about right. I did mine after two weeks, just to keep it clean. Air quality is definatly improved, I have allergies. I highly recommend this product. High quality, low cost maintenance, easy maintenance, quiet (on 1 and 2), should last for years to come.
