This is a hard plastic umbrella~TBH I didn't look at the details and I thought it was fabric. With that said, I still like it. It's cute, small and I guess the advantage to the hard plastic, is it protects fragile foliage from hail. I am removing one of the stars, however bc once you stick the umbrella into the soil, if you need to remove it to change location, the spiked tip that pokes a hole into the ground comes off, and if you wanna get it back, you have to dig it back up out of the ground.
