I got this to allow me to mount scopes correctly and other light-duty tasks. You just need to find the torque spec for your fasteners. I had one loaned to me at work for a long time and wanted my own. This one agrees almost exactly with my other one. It feels strong and it is heavy. Comes with a few 1/4" hex bits. Not much variety but you likely have a stash of bits to use with it. The bits are difficult to pull out of the case when you need them. It seems to adjust all the way down to 5 in lbs but I've read to never go below 10 in lbs. The instructions say to set the driver to 10 in lbs when you are done using it to preserve the spring.

Most tools in this price range don’t include one at all, but this came with a full test chart showing multiple readings at 10, 48, and 80 in‑lb. Everything was within spec, which gives you confidence the tool is actually doing what it says. Overall, this is a neat little precision torque driver. Not for big bolts, not for automotive torque specs, but for small hardware and hobby work, it’s accurate, easy to use, and a great value for the price.
