Excellent Choice for a Window A/C

This is a great A/C and it works exactly as described. It is exceptionally quiet. We have it in an open concept area window and it cools the 850 sq ft area very well. It also pushes cool air down a long adjoining hallway. Highly recommend this unit. It is very heavy so it requires 2 people to lift it.

This unit was purchased to replace an existing unit that after 15 years developed a leak causing condensate to drip into my walls. Now that doesn't sound too promising but in actuality turned out to be a blessing! This unit is so much quieter and cools the area more efficiently than the one it has replaced. I have used this for one summer season so no report on longevity from me but I have used LG products for quite a while and have been pleased with their performance and reliability that is one of the main reasons I selected this one for replacement.

WIFI Abilities with Alex built in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exceptional A/C with all the bells and whistles! This unit will cool down 1,440 Sq Ft at 23,500 BTU's it is one of the largest of window units on the market. The unit is very quiet and powerful at the same time. Plus it has the ability to work with Alex and can be controlled through WIFI using LG's App that can be downloaded. The A/C unit comes with everything needed for installation but you may need some extra materials. The unit is very heavy so you will need to install support from underneath and you will also have to install a 115 volt/15 Amp receptacle to run the power. The unit has a washable filter that easily removes from the front of the unit behind the grill, just pull down on the grill from the top and remove the filter. Overall this unit works and looks great when installed. I hope to gets years of service from the LG A/C window unit!
