Boiling water so fast.

I was amazed at how fast the water came to a full rolling boil. The discription says 1.7 L but the actual container shows to hold 2 L. The container is glass. When you get it you need to know there is a plastic shield in the lid that has to be peeled off before you operate it the first time. This would be great for making quick Ramen or heating water to make pasta. I was surprised that the base does not get hot at all so I don't have to worry about damage to whatever I set it on.

About this review:Walmart fulfilled this order and the fulfillment issues were not the fault of the seller.

Glass perfection

This kettle is awesome, it's bigger a nice sz and made of glass. I really enjoy that. The electric plugin base is separate from the kettle. just over two liters of measurements. My only complaint is that it's marked in liters and i'm not the best at math to convert to cups but that's not a huge problem. The fact that it is glass and steel that touches the contents is amazing!
