I'm impressed by this pulse oximeter. I got it on Black Friday for under $3, and it looks %26 feels just as sturdy as the professional oximeter that I paid $40 for. I really like the multi-color display. It shows both the oxygen level and the pulse rate. The words are in red, the oxygen level shows up in orange, the pulse rate in green, and the waveform shows up in blue. The color coding makes it easier to keep track of both values than the single color monitor screens where all of the values show up in all red or all blue. Finally, I like the fact that this model uses 2-AAA batteries instead of 2 of the 2032 quarter-sized flat batteries that my more expensive model uses. To recap, this pulse ox is comparable in quality %26 workmanship to more expensive models, has a better display screen, and uses cheaper %26 more readily available batteries. This is a good medical device that every home should keep around, just as essential as having a thermometer %26 a BP cuff around.
