Got this to help bring down the temperature in my kitchen and to help with the bright sun. My kitchen faces west. The sun is right in my window from 2 pm till sunset. Blinds weren't helping with the extra warmth in the kitchen. I tried a black out curtain, but I didn't like the look of a full curtain on that window, ugh. I came across this and thought, why not. After all, it will peel right off if i dont like it or get tired of it. Let me tell you, this is a game changer!! It is so easy to put on the window. I did the bottom, and hubby had to do the top window for me. Neither of us had problems. Everything you need is provided. It was intimidating before hand, most things are for me. But it ended up being very easy and hassle free. And it works!!! I can still see outside, but not be affected by the heat or the sunlight!! And no, you can't see in during the day, and just a little at night if you have a very bright light on inside! If you have read this far, just get it! You won't be disappointed, and it will not break your bank buying this!! I will be doing all of my windows. That way, I can nix the awful blinds.

Do you remember when you were little and you could take so much joy in the tiniest things? Something as simple as a beam of sunlight refracting through a tiny crystal hanging in the window was magic. This afternoon, I danced around in rainbows, in my living room. The sun was low in the sky, so the beams went straight through and refracted colors all over the whole room. (Way better than the tiny, scattered dots from that old crystal. ) I danced around in them, and no one could see me. (Because privacy film.) I've used at least three other brands of various types of window film. This one is actually thicker and sturdier than anything else I've purchased before. And this one came with a little spray bottle, for the soapy water that you use when installing it, and a razor knife for cutting it to fit, and a little squeegee. The instructions are reasonably clear and seem to have been written by someone who actually speaks English! Now, I did find the squeegee to be a bit small. Pro tip: A foot-long plastic ruler has the same angled shape, and works great to push out the air bubbles. But the included squeegee will work. If you screw it up, just peel it off and do it again. There's no glue. You can peel and stick until it's lined up so straight your OCD is cured. (Disclaimer: this product will not actually cure OCD. Go wash your hands again.) Then, wait until the angle of the sunlight is just right, and watch the magic happen. Don't be afraid to dance. It's privacy film. No one will see you.
