It works wonderful in the rooms with flooring, it is light weight and easy to carry from one room to another and since I vacuum those areas almost every day I appreciate the ease. it gets up close to my base boards and it has pretty good power. I have not used it on my carpet I prefer to use my full size vacuum when I am vacuuming larger areas. I have a dog that seems to shed a new coat every day lol to I can appreciate the suction it has.
