The 4-speed gear options allow you to adjust to different riding conditions, whether you want a relaxing ride or a little more control when going uphill. I am so pleased with this e-bike it's been perfect for my son to commute to his college classes. And I have taken it for a spin around the neighborhood. WE love our new electric bike! It was easy to put together with just some tightening needed. The screen shows speed and gears, with 4 being the highest gear. The seat is comfortable for an adult and kids, and it's quiet so as not to disturb others. Loads of fun !
