These blocks definitely feel like gummies. So much so that I would think toddlers might want to eat them (our cat sure tried! I took a video of her biting them). I don't actually like the texture, but maybe they'll "dry out" over time. They were stuck together in the box. After I pulled them apart, I tried to stick them together (side by side) and it sort of worked. They're easy enough to join and to pull apart. Other than the texture, I really like them. 4 1/2 stars because I object to the texture. If you don't mind playing with gummy candies these are probably perfect for you. Good quality. Look like they would last a long time as long as you keep them away from your dogs and cats. 

Parents if you are tired of hurting your feet by tripping over blocks, this might be of some help. These blocks are gummy, flexible and squishy. Great for textile and sensory play. Also helps with fine motor skills. Bonus: no pain if you trip over them. I highly recommend. And makes a wonderful gift.
