Do not buy this beach chair. Only lies flat back!

Do not buy this beach chair! Every time my husband sat back, the back of the chair went all the way flat. It would not stay in any position except all the way back flat. It might stay straight up for 20 seconds then without warning go back flat. It had him frustrated every time he used it! The frame was very sturdy, but the chair was totally unusable. Worst beach chair I've ever bought.
