Key item features

  • Robust Construction: Hand-loomed in India from 100% wool, this 5' x 8' area rug features a 0.25-inch pile height and a cotton backing. A separate rug pad is recommended for stability.
  • Transitional Design: Part of the Himalaya Collection, this Cream/Blue striped rug offers a transitional design, reflecting modern decor sensibilities and providing a stylish room upgrade.
  • Initial Shedding Care: New wool rugs will shed; vacuum 1-2 times weekly for the first few weeks. Use a low-pressure vacuum without beater bars, moving in the pile's direction. Clip loose ends.
  • Ongoing Maintenance: Regular vacuuming (no beater bars) and spot cleaning maintain the rug. Rotate it every 3-6 months for even wear and avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
  • Important Variances: Available in various colors and sizes, actual product colors and dimensions may slightly vary due to monitor differences. Temporary creases from shipping will naturally flatten.

quality rug

I purchased this rug for an office. The size was perfect and the quality is excellent. It is soft and thick underfoot. The colors are not quite what they look like or are described as online. It was supposed to be forest greens with red markings. There is some green, but it is largely light blue striping and the markings are pink.
