This lock's appearance is very nice and the chain cover completely covers the chain to protect your bike's finish %26 it can attach to things up to 4 1/2" around with the cuffs or much much larger if used as a cinch ring (see photos). The cuffs are much harder to get leverage on for a brute force attack than a padlocked chain. The 5.5 mm chain is better/more cut resistant than a regular 8mm cable but is not hardened and was easily notched with a file (see photo). If you do not carry the chain by wrapping it around a part of your bike the "trunk" style chain holder has attachments that allow several ways of securing it to a bike or scooter while also having a LOT of room to store other items as well (see photo). Having three keys is a nice extra. All in all a nice appearing easy to use security chain that won't scar up your machine or weigh you down.
