GET THE FASHION FACTS:

What is a Cable Knit? Cable Knit is a special knitting technique. It involves crossing layers of stitches over one another to create raised, three-dimensional patterns that look like twisted ropes, braids, or intertwining cables. Originally designed for fishermen to make their sweaters thicker and more weather-resistant, this technique is now used to create everything from classic crewnecks and cardigans to trendy sweater vests and matching lounge sets.

Why is Cable Knit the ultimate cold-weather must-have? Cable Knits offer raised, braided patterns for tons of texture, making your outfit look styled and intentional, even if you just paired it with leggings.

How do I care for my Cable Knits so they last? Because they are textured knits, Walmart recommends giving Cable Knits a little extra love to keep their shape. Never hang your heavy Cable Knits on hangers as gravity will pull the heavy fabric down, stretching out the shoulders and ruining the shape. Wash on cold (preferably on a delicate or knit cycle) and always lay them flat to dry so they keep their perfect, cozy fit.
