I'm continually trying different methods of masking cigarette odors in my 'smoke-free' apartment...settling on expensive jumbo incense or constant spraying with air fresheners, but the incense is causing a lot of soot, and that much spraying messes-up the walls and doors. I hadn't seriously considered essential oils, for I'm not trying to set a mood, but avoid fines...and that requires potency. When I saw this unit, with its multiple settings, I thought maybe it might work. Well...I could not be more pleased. With 15ml of cheap oil from the dollar store, I decided to try the highest setting (2 min On/1 min Off) for three timed hours, and then evaluate the effect. Didn't need to wait. After just 20 minutes, my 120 sq ft bedroom was covered corner-to-corner with the strength to overcome heavier cigarette smoking. It took about 30 min to fill the 190 sw ft LR/DR area to a lighter degree. It's going to require continual use, coupled with smaller, cheaper incense, or moderate spraying. Two hours on High consumed just 1 ml of oil, making this a much, much cheaper alternative to the jumbo incense sticks. The otiginally listed price of $70.00 dollars is a joke, but the current 33.00 price is a steal. My best bet is likely to just run two units continuously, at a total cost of 60% of what I currently spend on incense. I was intending to penalize one star for not including a sample oil...but as I am so impressed, I'll give it a perfect score. It's sleek, modern-tech design which incorporates a black fabric accent panel looks like a portable speaker, and the fit and finish are flawless. Also, you could not ask for a better, or easier control system. I highly recommend this unit.
