I ordered the Large because I expected the dress to have a more fitted silhouette, and since it's 100% cotton, I wanted a little extra room in case of any shrinkage after washing. It turned out to be a great decision—the fit is comfortable without looking oversized. The embroidered details give this dress a polished, boutique look that makes it seem much more expensive than it is. The cotton poplin fabric is lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for warm summer days. The rich navy color is beautiful, and the white embroidery really stands out. I generally prefer dresses that are lined, but because this one is a dark navy, that really isn't an issue. The fabric isn't see-through, so I never felt like the lack of a lining took away from the overall look or comfort. I'm so happy with this purchase that I wish I had ordered the red version while it was on sale too! This is a stylish, well-made dress that looks far more expensive than its price, and I'd definitely recommend it.
