Durable enough for a welding program

Daughter wanted cheap jeans for a welding program, so we went to the boys dept, and although the fit isn't perfect for girls, the price made up for it! They seem quite durable %26 have a decent amount of stretch. There does seem to be a bit of a sizing difference between the darker wash (tighter) and the light wash.
