I will be honest, I haven't had a tent since I was a child, so this may be the industry standard. But, either way, it has so many excellent features. It comes in a compact pouch with the two poles in a separate velcro-sealed pouch. The poles are each interconnected with an internal cord, like a bungee cord making it easy to assemble them and to prevent the potential for losing a part. The actual bungee cords for the entry portion are pre-attached and bright orange, so, once again, they won't be misplaced. And, once the tent is assembled, they are easy to see, reducing the potential for tripping over them since they extend fairly far out from the entrance. The instructions for set-up are printed on a piece of fabric which is permanently attached to the interior of the storage pouch, so they won't get lost. And, the assembly is rather simple. Again, there are just two poles. That makes for an efficient process. Once the location is established - one that can accommodate the extended cords - actual set-up takes about fifteen to twenty minutes if working alone. The stakes are straight and of a reasonable length, but, could easily come loose under certain conditions. So, I have (and always do use) refillable sand bags for extra security - particularly given the center height. Filling those took extra time, but provide additional peace of mind. I really like the fact that the sides do not touch the ground. It allows for less wind buffeting. And, I can see around the campsite even when under the tent. Not going to sleep in it. I want more protection. But, this is a great day tent providing protection for the elements. The fabric is lightweight, but, seems strong. The instructions are clear as how to maintain it and what not to use or do to protect it. Given the angles, it isn't tall enough for the portable shower enclosure to be placed in it, but, that is probably a good thing - preserving the space for other purposes and activities. Satisfied that the investment was worthwhile.

Feels sturdy and stable! Will take this camping and to the beach for sun shading and rain protection.
