As someone who works outdoors, on construction sites (I'm an architectural photographer with a focus on new construction), I'm always in need of comfortable, safe boots to wear in the job. So when I had the chance to pick up these steel toed boots by Brahma, I didn't hesitate. Quick review, they are comfortable and safe, but I would say they run large so perhaps order a size down. The most important thing about footwear is comfort, and these Brahma boots do well in this category. I can wear these for the work day with no complaints, or aching feet. My only problem is because my pair run large, I do have them bouncing back and forth a bit while I walk. In cooler weather, with larger, warmer socks, I think they will be better, and even still they do the job, but I'd certainly try them on first, or if you can't, like me, order a size smaller than usual. The boots look great, and can be dressed up or down. I don't alley wear these or construction sites…they can be worn anywhere, dressed up with a collared shirt, and I've had compliments. They are tall, and they have pull tabs on either side to help you get them on, which I absolutely love. They seem to be well made, and are holding up fantastically. I've beat mine up some, and they really look even better, rugged and safe. Luckily I have had to test the steel toes yet, except with my hand, and they seem very solid. I am a very happy wearer of these Brahma boots, and do recommend, as long as you make sure the size is appropriate.
