Tvilum Studio 4-Piece Bedroom Set, Black

I was in the process of redecorating my daughter's room and decided to replace their twin size bedroom sets with a queen size bedroom set as they're older now. Finding nice quality beds are easy, but purchasing complete sets can become expensive quickly. In this economy since I was doing two separate rooms, I decided to cut the costs by purchasing the beds and dressers separately. I bought 2 different awesome quality beds, then the hunt for the dressers was on. I searched different avenues and these were the cheapest options so I purchased them in two different colors. I brought the white and the black version of this. The delivery was great with no issues. The boxes were in good condition and the items were packaged well. It is easy for one person to put together, but the instructions could be better. If you scan the QR Code that's inside of the instruction packet, it takes you to the manufacturer website with better detailed instructions and photos, but better yet it has a very well thought out video of putting it together with great detail. Hopefully if you read this review that you can save yourself some time and take that route. As for the materials they are very cheaply made and looks to not be of quality for longevity. It's very cheap particle board. I reinforced everything by using wood glue on each piece as I was putting it together. That made it more sturdy and better to last. The dressers are very short and extremely low to the ground. Due to this I contacted customer service to return, %26 after being told the wrong information by a representative, I was given the run around for a long while! I was that they would send a delivery pickup company to pick up everything to return. After a month of this, I was told to return to the store. I'm a woman with a sedan %26 had no way to get these items in my car to return. I decided to keep them. I purchased furniture leg extensions to combat this and it turned out great. The dressers are on the small side. If you're used to big dressers with deep drawers you will be disappointed. The inside of the drawers are very narrow and don't have a lot of room or space for clothes, but depending on how well you fold or your technique you can make them fit comfortably. The drawers do not have a stopper to keep them from pulling all the way out. You'll be able to snatch the entire drawer out without any effort if you're not careful. Overall I brought quality mirrors and decor to make the pieces work. My children aren't hard on things and take good care of their belongings and we've had these dressers for months without any issues. If you know you're hard on things, I wouldn't recommend as you'd wouldn't have this long and would be out of your hard earned money. Due to its quality and if you need furniture, I'd say go for it. Just handle it with care. Due to my alterations I do like them now, but had I known what I know now, I wouldn't have purchased and went another route. You get what you pay for.
