The absolute most important thing to know is that because it builds vertically, the lighthouse collapses very easily during construction, which can quickly frustrate younger kids unless an adult is helping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MAGNA-TILES Lighthouse Rescue Set Mom/Dad Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (Loved the idea, struggled with the execution!) As a parent of four, magnetic tiles are usually my absolute best friend—they keep the crew entertained for hours and clean up in five minutes. So, when we opened up the MAGNA-TILES Lighthouse Rescue Set, the kids were instantly obsessed with the vibrant colors, the unique curved pieces, and the cool lighthouse look. What worked: * Major Fun Factor: The themed pieces are super cute and definitely got their creative gears turning right away. * Great for Teamwork: Watching them sit together and try to figure out how to stack it was a big win (at least until it tipped over!). What tested my patience: * The "TIMBER!" Effect: Vertical builds with magnetic tiles are notoriously tricky, and this lighthouse is no exception. It kept falling over while they were trying to finish it, which triggered a fair amount of toddler grumbling and frustration. * Needs a Steady Hand: You practically need surgical precision to keep the taller setup from collapsing. My littlest ones kept knocking it over accidentally, meaning I had to keep stepping in as the official "structure repair agent." Bottom Line: It's a super cute set and a fun addition if your kids already love Magna-Tiles, but be prepared to help out with the build if you have younger ones in the mix!

A high-quality magnetic building set that inspires creativity, imaginative play, and hours of screen-free fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the MAGNA-TILES Lighthouse Rescue 26 Piece Set complimentary for testing, and it was an instant hit with my kids! The bright colors, strong magnets, and unique lighthouse theme kept them engaged from the moment we opened the box. The pieces are sturdy, easy for little hands to connect, and encourage imaginative, open-ended play. The magnets are quite powerful as well. My children loved building different rescue scenes, and the included rescue vehicle and character pieces added an extra layer of storytelling. It's a fun way to promote creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills without relying on screens. The magnets are strong enough to keep structures together while still being easy for young kids to take apart and rebuild. The quality feels excellent, and the set is compatible with our other MAGNA-TILES, making it easy to expand their creations. Overall, this is a well-made, educational toy that provides hours of creative fun. I highly recommend it for preschool and early elementary-aged children!

Pretty cool set to make a lighthouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the cutest set. I love the turtle the most. It is easy to put together even though it has zero directions, which my 5 year old found unfair. I helped showed her how to use the picture on box to make the lighthouse. It is a great size. I thought it would be smaller size but it's not.
