these are AWFUL and I'm usually easy to please, especially with such a simple item. The torso is way too long, especially for the inseam length~28". The side flaps that are meant to look like cargo pockets are just useless flaps. The fabric exterior and liner would likely keep the wearer warm, but ankles would be exposed, waist would approximate ribcage, and knees can't comfortably bend due to odd darts on the exterior leg seam near the knee. Clearly these are made to intentionally look like useful side slit-pocket cargo raining slacks. The only way they'll ever get worn is for me (seamstress experience) to modify multiple seams and add actual pockets, detatching the thread holding the center flap down against the side seam, adding actual functional snaps, and straightening the darts at the knees. I'd also need to modify the crotch:leg seam, both the outer shell and liner. Of course since they charge more for the shipping than the pant, no one will return this item and no one will buy it when it gets dropped off at Goodwill. Walmart should definitely pull this item from its offerings online.
