I recently had my tall breakfast bar cut down to counter height and new countertops installed. Since then Ive been looking for just the right counterstool forever and finally just felt like I had to get something that would work until I found a "good one". I intended these to be a place holder - but when they arrived I could not be happier! The fabric is a neutral beige that literally goes with anything. The legs are solid wood. I was able to build them by myself in 20 minutes and they are sturdy. The foot even comes with a heavy duty felt pad to protect the floors. Honestly, I could not be happier with these and spent a fraction of the price at Pottery Barn, or Crate and Barrel. I am literally getting 4 swivel bar stools for the price of one at one of those stores and there is nothing about these stools that feels cheap. Im not sure if the fabric will stain - that is possible - but for this price, Im okay with that. Ive had expensive Restoration Hardware fabric stain so Im just glad to not pay that much if that is what might happen. At this price, if the upholstery gets stained, I can replace them.
