GET THE FASHION FACTS:

What is Waffle Knit? Waffle knit (also known as honeycomb knit or thermal knit) is a textured fabric characterized by a three-dimensional grid of recessed squares and raised ridges resembling a breakfast waffle.

Why is Waffle Knit a popular pick? Waffle Knit is prized for its thermal efficiency and breathability. The raised grid creates miniature air pockets between the skin and the fabric—trapping body heat for insulation while simultaneously allowing air circulation.

How do I wash Waffle Knit so that it doesn’t shrink? Waffle Knit shrinks more easily because of its 3D honeycomb grid, so Walmart recommends using cold water only on a low-spin, delicate cycle to help protect the weave. Most importantly, while the garment is still damp, gently pull and stretch the fabric back into its original length and width with your hands and lay it flat on a clean towel or a mesh drying rack.

Don't waffle on this sweatshirt

Love this Scenario crewneck sweatshirt. the waffle gives it a nice texture but it's still very soft and comfortable. I ordered a small and there is certainly enough room to wear a turtleneck or a long sleeve shirt underneath. If you want an oversized fit I would size up.

Great for fall

This is a thicker waffle knit but perfect for fall. Love the color and slight oversized fit.
