Umbra 13 gal Brim Plastic Step Soft Close Lid Kitchen Trash Can, Nickel

Good looking step on trashcan. Doesn't look like other cheap plastic ones and as much cheaper than the stainless steel ones. Only issue is it seems to be a little bit bigger than 13 gallons because 13 gallon bags don't fit very well and they're constantly splitting and changing . so I don't know what I'm gonna do. I may have to go up a size. Also, the bag rim holder is a poor design because it doesn't stay up when you're trying to change the bags. It's a little cumbersome. And you have to keep your foot pushed down on the pedal to keep the lead up, which is also weird. It should have a feature to prop it open to keep it open when you're changing the bag.

I wanted the bronze color, so I paid too much for this. The lid is aggravating. Under the lid is a collar/ring that doesn't help at all. When I open the trash lid manually, both the lid and the ring pop up. I know - use the foot opener. Sometimes it is just automatic to lift the lid with my hand. I think the purpose of the neck ring is to hold the trash bag in. The trash bag is really tight, so the collar is not needed.
