The box, shipped by FedEx, was undamaged. I didn't have to wait long for the shipping either. I wanted to make bread with this Dutch oven. The bread came out perfect, as I did follow care instructions. Most recipes instruct the user to preheat the Dutch oven but I DID not, as the instructions say not to. The design is exquisite. I loved that this Dutch oven comes with small mittens for the handles and a cookbook as well as a small mat for the hot Dutch oven to be placed when out of the oven. I would recommend this item.
