OTIC Vintage Wood AM/FM Bluetooth Radio, Portable Speakers with Retro Design, Rechargeable, Bass & Treble Control, Home Decor Gift for Office, Kitchen, Gift for Parents

I love everything about this little speaker. The combination of the retro design mixed with modern features is the balance many try but few achieve. Setup is a piece of cake. You turn it on, choose your function, and you're in business. If you're unsure how, you can always refer to the enclosed user's manual. The language is very simple and explains everything you need to know to get started and switch between functions. Bluetooth service isn't a long drawn out process and connects immediately after initial setup. One thing about the Bluetooth I can say is my favorite, is the RX/TX switch. RX is to receive, TX is to transmit. You predominantly see receive but rarely do you also get transmit options from bt speakers. It sounds surprisingly good for such a small speaker. Good bass and treble. You don't have a full EQ, but a knob that adjusts treble and bass without either overpowering or distorting the sound. Volume has a surprising range and is enough to rock out or just provide background sound. Either way, you'll enjoy this. You can listen to music, podcasts, talk radio, it's all up to you. The radio reception works great! The antenna extends farther than it looks like it would. It's easy to dial in your station and you have dual tuners for AM/FM bands. The analog dial is easy to read and looks great as well. The retro aesthetic is perfect! The wooden body is a beautiful cherry wood finish that's sturdy and gives a warm look that matches the sound. It's not particle board with a paper laminate. It's real wood. Such an excellent design here. It looks great on a bookshelf or side table. Could easily be packed in a bag for a weekend or a camping trip without taking up too much space. There are even 4 rubber feet to avoid any vibrations and provide stability on a level surface. It can be charged for hours of wireless entertainment or powered directly using the USB to USBC cable included with the device. There's also an aux in port for external components like a phonograph or mp3 player. I will always consider Otic when looking to get another Bluetooth speaker in the future. Highly recommend this little speaker!

This is a vintage style am/fm radio that can bluetooth in or out. The wood is medium to dark in color. It definately gives the appearance of an old radio that might have been seen in the 40's. If you like the old radio look, you should like this one, as well as it's modern alternatives. The reception is good, the sound from the speaker is passable, but not high fidelity, but then you aren't buying this for high fidelity, but rather the vintage ambiance.
