Feeding Instructions

FEEDING FOR ADULT MAINTENANCE It is important that you feed Pro Plan to your adult cat “free choice” throughout the day, rather than as just a single feeding only at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Watch your cat’s weight and adjust food amounts accordingly. If you have a kitten, or a pregnant or nursing cat, you should continue feeding an appropriate Pro Plan kitten formula. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you’ll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your cat’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you’re feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. FEED PRO PLAN ADVANTEDGE SENIOR SUPPORT+ FORMULAS For maximum benefit, feed this product exclusively or mix with any of the flavors of Pro Plan Adult 7+ wet cat food entrées. When feeding Pro Plan AdvantEDGE Senior Support+ dry only, refer to the feeding chart for recommended daily amounts based on your cat’s body weight. When feeding dry and wet together, decrease the daily amount of Pro Plan AdvantEDGE Senior Support+ dry by 1/4 cup for every 3 oz can of Pro Plan Adult 7+ wet offered. Adjust as needed to maintain your cat’s ideal body condition and avoid excess weight gain. Divide total daily amount into 2 or more meals. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet’s health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Great for my seniors!

My three cats are 9, 9 and 13- they love this food! I have one chronic vomiter I manage with diet and this has helped significantly. As a veterinarian I highly recommend this food - my girls “act younger” on the AdvantEDGE for senior cats.

Great Food for Senior Cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat really enjoys this Purina Pro Plan Senior Support food. The pieces are easy to eat, and my cat seems to like the chicken and rice flavor. It is a good option for an older cat, and I like that it is specifically formulated to support senior cats.

ProPlan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Smokie Bear will be turning 18 years old on Sept 23, 2026...currently he has kidney disease and i got this coupon from purina rewards to try this Pro Plan. They don't sell in local stores but i was able to find it in the pet store. Smokie loves eating this dry food better than the store dry cat food!
