I patted them dry and seasoned them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. I roasted them at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes, and they came out with crispy skin and juicy meat inside. No dry, stringy texture like I've had with cheaper brands. The flavor is mild and chicken-y, which makes them versatile. I've done them roasted, grilled, and even tossed them in a slow cooker with barbecue sauce. All three methods worked well. Here's the honest catch. Like any fresh chicken, you have to check the sell-by date and cook them within a day or two. I wouldn't push it past that. Also, the family pack is a lot of chicken, so if you're cooking for one or two, you might want to freeze half right away. I'm hoping Tyson keeps the quality consistent.
