The pillow is 1 in on one side,2 in on the other, with a indent for your head. The memory foam, is not too soft or too hard. The foam pillow itself inside the pillowcase had a few nicks-not the best processing. The bottom of the pillow is flat, would be better it could be improved upon by being rounded on both sides. Also the pillow is very small, it does not fit your pillowcase-would be great if it was longer. I may get another one to double up, it is extremely low profile but it is working for me I usually use the 2-in side. So this is something I may do, until a certain company I'm waiting for to make a low profile pillow. This is decent, enough and is helping with my neck issues for now. Price point is great, for what it is. I figured I'd give it a try instead of spending $89- $200 on another pillow. It works for now. Shipping does take a while to get to you. Pretty good pillow for now.
