A nice surprise right out of the gate: my package included bonus landscaping staples, which ended up being genuinely useful as we ran short. The weed barrier itself is a woven, flexible fabric and came in the exact 4' width I needed. My landscapers had no complaints and found it easy to work with. The project involved a circular lay, and the fabric had to bend (it delivered). There is a slight odor on arrival, but that’s fairly typical for products made with recycled materials. Since this is installed outdoors, it’s a non-issue. Durability is always the long game with weed barriers, so I can’t speak to how it will hold up over time. That said, installation was quick and painless, and the bonus staples were especially appreciated. Fast shipping and an overall smooth experience. A solid pick for a straightforward landscaping job.

OK , If You Know What You Are Purchasing

This landscape fabric is as advertised, It is OK for what it is, but one needs to be aware of what they are purchasing. It is advertised as being 4 ft. x 100 ft. It is actually two fifty ft. pieces, folded and placed in the same package. That is not a big issue but one needs to be aware that they will have to overlap it. Several inches will be lost in the overlap. If one is not familiar with landscape (weed barrier) fabric, AKA geo-textile fabric, it is rated in ounces. The specified ounces has to do with the thickness of the material. The higher the ounce rating, the thicker and/or heavier the material. The heavier and/or thicker the material, the better it is at blocking weeds. For example: A less expensive 2 or 3 ounce fabric, is not nearly as good at blocking weed growth as a 5 oz or thicker fabric. Of course the 5.8oz and up, fabrics are considerably more expensive. The heavier fabrics will usually last longer as well. This seller is at least honest in correctly posting the proper 3.2 ounce rating on this fabric, I have encountered several online sellers where lesser grade, 2 or 3oz fabric, is advertised as 5.8, 6, or even 8oz. It is akin to advertising a gallon of something, then sending one a quart. With this item, you are receiving what it says. If one is landscaping a small area or has a limited budget, this fabric should work well for you. It is a thin fabric but definitely better than what one will see at the big-box hardware stores. One big plus with this fabric, is that it comes with high quality landscape pins/staples. The pins usually have to be purchased separately. I hope this is helpful
