Zipper Issue

The zipper came off during it's first usage of the bag. I was leaving on a cruise and using the bag as my purse prior to departure. Knowing I would add items during the trip it was very empty. So it was in no way overstuffed!! I zipped an unzipped bag several times throughout the airport, however midway to my destination the zipper came off the bag completely. I was left literally holding the metal zipper in my hand. I had no choice but to purchase an overpriced bag from gift store since a bag is basically a necessary for pajamas the night leaving a ship once your main luggage is taken.
