String and Sturdy!

These are a lot larger than I was looking for, but they are so heavy duty I decided to keep them. With all the ones I tried before, my books slipped as soon as I pulled one out. This bookend is sturdy and strong and will not slide. I may buy another pair. I just wish there was a smaller, but just as sturdy, option available.

Sturdy, Simple %26 Works Perfectly

These are my first actual bookends, and I'm really happy with them. Before this I was just using a white storage bin to help keep my daughter's books together, so this looks much cleaner and more organized. They feel sturdy and have a nice weight to them without being bulky. They're tall enough to support larger books, and the non-skid base helps keep everything in place. I also like the simple black finish because it blends in and doesn't distract from the books. They don't take up much shelf space and do exactly what I needed them to do. The quality feels great, and I'm really happy with how much neater the book area looks now. Definitely worth it and I'd buy another set as our book collection grows.

It's a sturdy bookend and books do not slip. It's functional rather than elegant and is painted in an unobtrusive color.
