BAD TOILET SEAT DESIGN

Toilet itself is fine but the SEAT is not good Lift the lid to sit down and it starts closing before you turn around Then as you are sitting there the lid is resting against your back This is not something I want - Asked for a replacement but you have to jump through hoops just to get something done

Install the seat first!

If you follow the installation instructions, you end up with a toilet seat that is very hard to install, as the access to the nuts that tread onto the plastic bolts that hold the included toilet seat, is through the back! By the time you get to the end of the installation, you already dealt with the lack of space to tighten the nuts that hold the toilet against the flange, because remember, this one has that “skirt” that covers the bottom of the toilet, so no easy access to anything under the toilet (tank bolts, water connection, toilet seat installation, and toilet-to-flange installation). If you still want to install it, start by installing the toilet seat! That solves the mayor headache. Also, get a pass-thru socket ratchet, to make the toilet-to-flange installation easier. Another tool that can help you is a very wide flat screw driver (1/2” or wider), this one will help you with the tank and toilet seat installation. In my case, I decided to get rid of the toilet seat and order a replacement that is installed from the top without the need to access the bottom. I have to say, after all the problems, it looks good
