A little bigger than I'm used to, but they actually feel nice this way. There is a velco strap across the top you can adjust for this. They feel good when you walk in them and I like that I can feel the air going through the little water holes. Will be perfect for the water!

I've never had the Bear Run shoes before but these are really nice tennis shoes and they fit well they're lightweight breathable I love the mesh and they're easy to clean I love that the traction is just right and overall they're Amazing shoes . but I've literally never even heard of these friends before but I highly recommend them for anybody I like that they seem to be wide because I do have a wide foot and they have wiggle room from a toes. Overall they're worth it I got my granddaughter a pair and she absolutely loves them she went running around and they're comfortable so yeah now we both have a pair and we love them
