The person wearing them wanted something that did not feel thin and could hold up to the wear it would have all day inside of a tennis shoe. They said they were comfortable and did fit well. It is an affordable option to add color option when necessary and the ankle sock is high enough that it doesn't slip off inside the shoe if the shoe isn't tied snug on the foot.
