These pants look exactly like the picture shows. I got the size Small in the Retro Blue color. I am 5'3" tall and the top of the waist goes above my belly button. As for length, they reach right to the floor. The fabric that these jeans are made from seems very sturdy, yet has quite a bit of stretch, which should give the wearer a lot of comfort. The sizing guide was a little off though, so I decided to post the measurements in the attached pics. The size Small hips measured 38" instead of the posted 36.5 and the waist measured 26" instead of the posted 27.5. I could have worn an XS, but it was not available. That said, I do really like these jeans as a 'baggy look' jean. They seem to be a well-made jean in the boyfriend cut, which has the baggy, straight legs. I have no rear so they are a bit big in that area. As for the waist, the waist is more straight up and down than a curvy fit. It is a true boyfriend cut jean, but looks pretty good on if you are in to the baggy jean look.
