swim vest only, not a life jacket

I would only recommend this item for swimming lessons. i did not realize it wasn't a life vest. It's just a swim vest, but that's okay because it will work for what I needed It for which is teaching her to swim. a little bummed it's not going to work on the boat, but that's okay. just make sure you are also getting it for swim instruction or supervised swimming because this is not for boating or to save a life. the product itself is good fabric, a comfortable fit and a cute little shark, we like that. it zips up nice with a plastic zipper and a velcro closure to keep it up and closed. we live in a community with two pools, so it is perfect and lightweight.

Sizing perfect made very well!

I am so happy I found this swim vest for my granddaughter! This is great for toddlers! She is 6 but she is little for her age size 5T! She can swim under water really well but has a hard time swimming on top of water so until she is comfortable we want her to feel safe and be safe! She doesn’t like the floats that go around her arms or the life vest that has the strap between the legs so this one is perfect! It is made really well has a thick zipper and Velcro strap and it fits her perfectly! We have a beach trip in a few weeks and can’t wait to swim in the Ocean and Pool!

This item is so cute. I love the bright colors and it is really helping my 15 month old grandson to feel more comfortable in the pool. Some of the swimming vests we tried are too cumbersome but this fit great.
