I just want to clarify that these jeans do run true to size chart, but I need to explain. The rise of this jean is 10.5 inches. Therefore, you need to measure your rise and measure your waist around THAT POINT which might not be the smallest part of your waist, especially if you are a long waisted lady like me. So even though my waist is 25 inches, I am about 26.5 inches around where the waist of these jeans hit on my body. I went ahead and ordered a 0, partly because I did not know the rise until I purchased, and partly because I am almost always a 0 in Walmart jeans and I did not want them to fit me lose. Yes, the waist is a tad snug. I probably won't be wearing them on a crummy bloated day! If a snug waist is something that would bother you, order up one size. Also, these jeans are 98% cotton, so if you are planning to wash them in hot water and/or dry them in a dryer, I would recommend sizing up. I have proportionately short legs and the length of these jeans did not trouble me, but I am used to wearing a heel or platform to add length to my legs. I generally purchase a 32” I seam if I want to wear with a low heel or platform sneakers. I have worn these with a platform sneaker and they don't drag on the floor. The jeans are very cute, there is slight stretch, and they do loosen up a little as you wear them. All in all, I love them!
