Exactly what I needed!

The new addition was eating everything in sight, but this has restore Pippa's ability to eat her own food. I leave it in the open mode and it recognizes her microchip and notifies me that she has visited. If Ollie, the piggy new guy, tries to eat from it his microchip is recognized as not registered and the door over the bowl closes. Problem solved!

Keeps My Cats on Their Own Diets

As someone with a multi-cat household, this feeder has made mealtimes much easier. One of my cats is on a special diet, and the other used to sneak bites from her bowl. The PawsPik Automatic Microchip Feeder only opens for the right cat, so everyone gets the food they're supposed to have. Setup was straightforward, the microchip detection works reliably, and the included RFID collar tag is handy for pets without chips.

Easy to use and reliable

I'm not very tech savy, but this feeder was surprisingly easy to set up. My cat was able to figure it out right away, she seemed pretty comfortable with it so didn't really need to use the acclimation guide. The feeder feels sturdy enough, the stainless steel bowl is a nice plus since it's easy to clean. I'd say it's worth the investment :))
