Great Heavy Duty Glass Bowls

I am very pleased with this set of borosilicate glass bowls. The bowls are thick glass, very sturdy with a nice weight. I did not expect them to be as thick as they are and that was a nice surprise. The lids have an extra slot which makes it so they snap tightly into place on the bowls. Storage is great as they fit into each other nicely. Since they are borosilicate glass, they are good for microwave, oven, freezer, refrigerator and dishwasher. I have been switching to glass to avoid plastic use and these are a great addition. They arrived extremely well and safely packaged and undamaged. I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for bowls like this.

Clear Glass Bowls with Lids I Can Actually See Through!They're colored but transparent, so you can still see what's inside. That makes a big difference when storing food in the fridge (my mom will be happy about that!). The lids are solid without those removable inserts that get dirty and hard to clean. Even my kitten Lucy approved.

Beautiful and Versatile!

I love these. They're really beautiful - they'd be perfect for taking a dish or two to a potluck. They're also perfect for preparing for guests in advance; you can prepare a variety of foods, like salads and dips, and pop them in the fridge, and take them straight to the table at serving time. The largest bowl would even hold my very large batch of bread dough, since it has about a gallon capacity! They're oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe, and can also go in the refrigerator. The glass bowls are environmentally friendly, too. The lids are very well designed, they seem sturdy, and they go on with a satisfying "pop" so you can know that they're secure. I got these with the idea that we can get lots of use out of them, and one day my daughter can use them to set up housekeeping. If you get these, you'll love them : )
