I'm very happy with these cutting boards. I like the handles at the bottom of each one, it makes it a lot easier to pick up the board from the table, especially with medium sized finger nails. The little cutting board holder, is really cool, I love that it comes with it's own storage! I'm excited to be switching from plastic cutting boards finally, as now I won't have to worry so much about microplastics making their way into my family's food. I mean, I know we can't avoid it all, but I am looking for ways to help mitigate it. I think this was a great step towards safer eating for everyone in the house. There hasn't been a lot of wood shedding, when I slice things on the board, it seems pretty dense and hard. But do remember, that you'll need to use food safe oil on it once a month (depending on how often you use it), to keep it from cracking, or getting all warped. You can use food safe mineral oil, coconut oil, or beeswax. Do not use olive or vegetable oil, as they will eventually go rancid and make your cutting board smell like the bottom of your garbage can. My first use of it, was with some meat and cheese for charcuterie, then I ended up using it for the serving board too, because it looks so nice, the board I used in the picture, is medium. I think it would be great for hosting, just throw some finger foods on it, and you are good to go. I also put my hand in one picture to give you an idea of all of the board's general size, I am a woman with medium sized hands, and I think it shows the boards are fairly generously sized. It came so nicely presented, I almost felt bad opening it up and using it. I think it would make an amazing housewarming gift, if you are looking for something that looks expensive, but is more affordable. I love them, and highly recommend these cutting boards!
