GEAK Large Print Wireless Keyboard, Full-Size Ergonomic Keyboard with Wrist Rest for Computer Keyboards, Rechargeable Silent Keyboard Gaming with 7-Color Backlit Light up Keys for Laptop Mac Windows

It lights up. It’s large print. And it’s wireless! What more can you want in a keyboard? We like our wired lighted keyboard so well, we just had to try wireless. It’s the best of both worlds. Out of the box, the wireless keyboard was plug and play as promised. Simply plug in the dongle, turn it on, and start typing. The hardest part was choosing our favorite color out of the available rainbow. The large print is very nice. We consider it an added bonus because we may not necessarily need it now, but there’s no denying that it does make it easier for anyone to see. And someday in the future if we do need it, we’ll already be set. The letters are in a larger font, but not in bold font like other keyboards. And some keys that normally display words like Page Up or Page Down just have initial shorthand PU or PD. So we would definitely recommend these large print keyboards as an aid to persons with low vision. Some of the other functions and shortcuts specific to this keyboard are explained in the manual. And it’s expected that different manufacturers put a few keys in slightly different spots, but that’s just a matter of getting used to any new keyboard. Most of us surely have to look for the rarely used keys anyway. The QWERTY keys and 10-key numbers are in the traditional configuration. It’s nice that the keys type with a soft touch. And the keyboard has an interesting shape to offer a built-in wrist rest. It’s plastic, not padded, but we’ve never had a keyboard shaped like this one before. We like the backlight the best. A choice of color makes the keyboard pretty to work at, and the dimming makes it nice to control glare and adjust for room lighting. The addition of a wireless keyboard to our computer accessories is the topper. Its mobility means that we can use it on any computer, and we’re set for the future. P.S. The cord you see in our picture is only the charging cord giving it the initial charge up. We can’t comment on how long it will operate once it’s unplugged. But like most wireless accessories, it has an on/off switch to save the battery. So we trust that it will type a long time between charges. (Sorry if the formatting doesn’t recognize our paragraphs.)
