A summer must

I bought this little boat for one reason—to have fun. And let me tell you, it delivers. There's just something about watching it take off across the pool or skim through a creek that brings out the kid in me. One minute I'm supposed to be supervising the grandkids, and the next minute I'm racing them to the other side. I like that it's fast enough to be exciting but simple enough that anybody can enjoy it. If it flips over, it can usually right itself. If it gets in a tight spot, the reverse helps get it back out. That means more time having fun and less time wading into the water to rescue it. The pool is great, but where this thing really shines is in a calm creek. Watching it weave around rocks, driftwood, and little bends in the water makes every run different. Before you know it, you've spent an hour outside smiling like you're ten years old again.

Very FAST!!!

This boat is super fast! I had it set to the slowest setting and it was faster than I would ever want! I have no doubt it will do the speed it claims. I don't want to set mine up any higher than the lowest setting. Maybe if I was on the lake or a pond it might be OK, but in a 24 foot pool the slowest setting is incredibly fast. It has 2 different tuning buttons for steering control. It is very nicely built. I flipped mine by hitting a pool noodle. After around 15 minutes I brought it in and opened it up. There wasn't a drop of water inside. I would say this is more of an adult toy because of the speed. I would supervise a child with it because it could hurt someone if they ran it into them. Mine came with only 1 battery. I contacted the seller and they were helpful. They said they were out, but are supposed to ship me a new unit when they restock in 15 days. Hopefully they will be true to their word. You can find the batteries for around $10 or less online. Hopefully I won't have to go that route. Their customer service was friendly and helpful so I think they will do what they say. I really like the boat. It is well built and does what it claims. I do recommend it to anyone looking for a super fast RC boat!
