I love these I love how they're open till so you can still wear a sandal if you want I tried them on as soon as I got them. I wish I could've got them in a little smaller size, but I feel like those still work and I know that some of the smaller size ones I made me feel uncomfortable in the past, but I have a spinal cord injury and I have chronic blood clots so this is perfect for when I'm in my wheelchair for a long time and for when I travel, I also think I'll be able to use this on my wedding day because it will be hidden by my dress and I'll still be able to wear shoes where my toes can show I really really like that they can be hidden, so you can still look normal while dealing with chronic illnesses

I would suggest 1 size up, I did measure my calves and it says Large will be the choice. my calves though do swell so if there was an xl, I should have chose that size. overall they have worked great, put them on the minute I got them, wore them 9 hours. big difference in my ankles(kankles) and legs not as heavy feeling. put on next day and wore all day until I have to go to a party. helped push a lot of fluid out of my legs.
