A very nice book stand for desks, coffee tables, or countertops. Realize that it's for small books with a maximum thickness of 4 centimeters. That means no more than 2 cm per open half. If you're 3/4 of the way through a book then you're out of luck on clipping the thicker side of the book.

This book stand not only holds my book, it also holds my Nook and my Kindle in place as I read. It holds my tablet and my 17" laptop. It is sturdy and has a nice color. It did have some small marks in a few places but that will be covered by whatever it's holding.
