Easy setup, keyboard warning
This review is my experience using this headset and controller with an Android phone, specifically a Samsung Galaxy A20. This was really easy to set up, even for me, a technophobe! You pair with the controller, go into your app or video, add your phone into the headset, and enjoy. For a more detailed explanation: After you put batteries in the remote, go into your Bluetooth settings on your phone, and pair the controller with your phone. My controller was called "VR Park" in my Bluetooth settings. Now It's really important to note, that you will have to un-link VR Park, in your phone settings when you are done, since it replaces your keyboard on your phone, so that it can work with it. If you don't turn it back off, you will not be able to use your phone's keyboard until you do. You can play VR games on apps like VR Games hub, VR games store, or Cardboard. Or you can watch videos on YT and other video sites, by searching for side by side, VR180, or stereoscopic 360 videos. The headset is incredibly comfortable, it feels like having a pillow on your face. The controller is comfortable in my hand. I'm still figuring out most of the buttons, so far, in gaming, I know the trigger button is for shooting in games, the button just above it, is for gripping objects and general interaction. The O button seems to be the enter button, and all the rest seem to change depending on the game and it's own layout. For videos, all I know is C and D are volume control. If there was an option to take away half a star, I think I would, only because the instructions aren't great. It doesn't tell you how to pair the controller, or what the Bluetooth label will be. Nor what any of the buttons normally do. I had to guess, and go off what other controller buttons mean. Expect a lot of trial and error. This really is a great headset, and I'm impressed at the quality at this price. I recommend it, if you can't afford the fancy new VR game sets, this is a great alternative to play around with and have fun, and it's easy to set up and get started for beginners.
