Step-by-Step Setup Guide

1. Connect to Initial WiFiOpen your phone/PC WiFi settings → Select the hotspot named “Repeater_XXXX” (no password required for this initial connection).
2. Access the Setup PageYour device will auto-jump to the extender’s setup interface. If it doesn’t, open a browser and enter “192.168.1.1” (default IP). Then click “LOGIN”.
3. Choose Your Mode
   • Select Repeater Mode (Most users choose this: extends your existing WiFi signal, no cable needed).
   • Select AP Mode only if you connect the extender to your router via an Ethernet cable (converts wired to wireless).
4. Pair with Your Home RouterWait for the extender to scan nearby WiFi → Select your home router’s SSID → Enter your router’s password.
5. Customize Extender WiFi (Optional)Check the box if you want a unique WiFi name/password for the extender → Click “NEXT”.
6. Complete SetupClick “Finish” → Wait 30 seconds. Confirm the extender’s WiFi indicator turns green (solid) (this means setup is successful).

Note: To reset the extender (if setup fails), press the side “RST” button for 8+ seconds to restore factory settings, then re-do the steps above.

Mode Difference Tips

• Repeater Mode (Recommended): Extends your existing WiFi signal. Place the extender 1-3ft from your router during setup, then move it to a middle spot (between router and WiFi dead zone).
• AP Mode: Requires an Ethernet cable (plug into the extender’s LAN port). Use this if you need to turn a wired network port into a wireless hotspot.
