This runs two sizes larger than your regular size.

Well I was scared to purchase this coat due to everyone saying it's too big and there was so many different variety of reviews. I should have listened to the one lady who said she was 5'7 which I am, but when she received the coat she said it was way too big and so she ordered a 2X but I was afraid to do that. For your reference, I am 5'7 247 lb and so I ordered the 4X and when I received it I was swimming in it hahaha It was like two sizes too large for me so I think a 2X would have been wonderful. I usually wear a 4X but when the lady said it was way too big I didn't want to go up to 5X so I just stayed with 4X and yeah I should have went to a 2X but decided even though the code is beautiful and I would love to have another one, I found one of my own coats that I still had that I'm going to use but the color is beautiful. I thought I had read where it had a fleece lining but no. If it had, I think I would have gone ahead and ordered a 2X but the lining is silk and I know in the winter silk can be cold to the body so that's why I didn't reorder a 2X. Hope this helps.

I love this coat! I bought the teal blue because I was sick of every coat I own being black or gray. I've gotten many compliments on the coat already, Plus it's extremely comfortable, roomy without being too big, and not too heavy, so I can layer inside if I I need to. And it's machine washable.

My favorite outerwear

There are many things I love about this coat. It is lightweight and the "swing" shape fits me well, and it's roomy enough to allow for a warm sweater underneath. The buttons are easy to fasten, and the funnel collar (buttoned all the way up) means I don't need to wear a scarf. Roomy pockets are a plus. I wash this in the washing machine (delicate cycle, warm wash, cold rinse), hang it up to dry, and it comes out perfect, with no wrinkles. The lining allows the coat to slip on and off over my clothes easily. With a hat and gloves, and a warm sweater underneath, this coat gets me through the very cold winters we have here. I have five of these coats, in five different colors. If this style is ever available in a camel color or dark green, I'll be adding those to my collection!
