The arms usually fit long on me with this type of jacket in a large but because it has an extra cuff with elastic inside for warmth it doesn't go over my wrists! It's a great purchase. I did not think to get a size up, because I am small, like tiny skinny. But I cannot wear this coat over a thick sweater or hoodie without feeling stiff. I recommend getting your normal size if you think you'll wear this over a t-shirt or a thin layer. If you normally would wear your coat with something else thick or bulky, you should order the next size. When I have the hood buttoned, the fuzz/fur wants to go in my mouth, haha. As most shipped things do, it arrived wrinkly. Good pockets. :) Bought this for the cold front in Florida.
